Hunters-gathers were a group of early humans who hunted for food and gathered plants for foods too. Usually, the women gathered the plants or berries while the men hunt for food like fish or deers. They had a primary and secondary source. The primary source were a document or artifact seen in a historical event. A secondary source is something produced by someone that was not there. The hunters-gatherers were nomads. That means they move from one place to another searching for food and shelter.
The Development of Tools and Fire
In the hunters-gatherers societies, the most important tool was the fire. It helped the people in many ways. For example, it helped them to provide light and warmth. It also helped them to provide tools by melting the stones to shape it and use it. Also, early tools were made of stone and bones. Another reason to use fire was to scare off predators and to cook food too. Some tools that the hunters-gathers used was spears and arrows. It helped them to hunt for food.
